At the end of August, on Friday 24 to be exact, BNEC received visitors from a place far from Jakarta. Economics English Conversation Club (EECC), an English Club for the Economic student in Diponegoro University Semarang, conducted an event named EECC Study Visit. They came from the other side of Java to visit Jakarta with the purpose of increasing the Rangers (that’s how they call the EECC organizer) knowledge on managing an organization.
Only staying in Jakarta for 1 day, they picked 2 places that they thought was the best place for them to learn, BNEC and @america in Pacific Place Mall. They saw BNEC as one of the best English Organization in Indonesia as we successfully conducted many big events while attaining achievements. For that reason, they visited BNEC.
The event started when they arrived in Anggrek Campus at around 9 am, and several BNEC BoM had already gathered to welcome 40 of them and give a small tour around the campus. After showing them the food court and other campus’ main selling point, we escorted them to room 501, which had already booked for the knowledge exchange.
They walked around Binus and waited for the sharing to begin with enthusiasm. The welcome speech by both President and the event Project Officer, Novita, indicated the event to start. Both Leonardo (BNEC President) and Laili (EECC President) talked about their happiness for the chance given to learn while also giving new knowledge to the others.
The whole sharing included presenting both organization profile, BNEC talent management system, and the most exciting session, an FGD (Forum Group Discussion) for all divisions. The event ended at around 11 am as EECC need to continue their trip to @america. Even with more than 30 minutes time for the FGD, all divisions felt sad as they still wanted to discuss many topics. The overall sharing session was very fun and awesome. The event then closed with a plaque and souvenir handover.
Thank you EECC for trusting BNEC as the right organization for you to visit. We are very happy to be able to share knowledge with you and hopefully they are helpful in your organization. But the most interesting part for us is getting new friends and knowledge from you. See you again!
